A checklist for ensuring your home is sale ready

Many people just slap a for sale sign on the front lawn and hope that potential buyers will see the hidden potential your home has to offer. More often than not, however, a lot of needed cosmetic work can overwhelm a buyer and scare them off. Why not do what you can to reduce that workload for a buyer and help ensure your home sells more quickly.
Flooring
At the very least make sure it is clean. Rent a steam cleaner for carpeting or scrub it by hand if its tile, wood or laminate. If it’s in the budget, replace any flooring that is plain unsightly. If a carpet is worn right out or stained beyond repair, or some tiles are cracked, consider fixing them in advance of putting the home up for sale.
