Even when communicating with clients and acquiring leads via social media you still need to have a website. A website is your digital business card. It’s how potential clients can find out more about you, see your current listings, and find helpful information. You don’t need to pay a fortune to have a professional website designed. There are many tutorials that you can use to set up a site using a platform like WordPress. You just need to have your own domain name. In addition, your domain name should be your actual name unless you market yourself as a specialist in a particular niche and you want to include that niche in your domain name. The domain name should be short and easy to remember.
Business Cards That Include Your Online Presence
Of course, you have business cards with you all the time. But does your business card include your digital accounts? It should. Along with your name, address, and cell phone number your business cards should have your website address, your email account, and the handles of your social media accounts for Facebook and the other popular sites. If you cannot fit all of your social media handles on the card you should at least have your Facebook page address listed on your business card. Some agents have made the jump to digital and now have cards that just have their name, cell phone number, and digital account information listed. No matter which style of business card you choose it should have some of your digital information on it.
