Be A Presence at Neighborhood Events

Summer is the time when people in many different neighborhoods get out and gather together. There are street festivals, neighborhood yard sale days, barbecues and picnics, and many other neighborhood events. Make sure that you are attending neighborhood events and have a booth set up so that you can talk to people in the neighborhood and the people who visit the neighborhood. When people that live in the neighborhood have friends and family that want to move to that neighborhood the residents can refer them to you. And people that are visiting the neighborhood will stop by and talk to you about buying a home in the neighborhood.

Work Social Media

Are you posting photos of the homes you’re representing on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels? If you’re not then you should be. Make sure that you use location tags so that people who are searching for homes in a particular area see your photos. Also, make sure that you use plenty of relevant hashtags. Photos that have 20 hashtags or more are the ones that get the most visibility. Also, try to connect with local bloggers who have a large following. Getting your listings on a local blogger’s site is a fantastic way to find new buyers.

Revisit Old Connections

Summer saleHas it been a while since you checked in on buyers that you worked with previously? Summertime is a great time to check in with them and see how they are doing. Farmer’s Markets and outdoor festivals are everywhere during the summer. Start becoming a regular at the local markets and any outdoor events and festivals. You never know who you might meet at these events. And be sure to let your followers on social media know where you will be so that they can come and meet you in person. The more people you talk to the more likely it is that you will be able to boost your summer sales and take advantage of the busiest home selling season of the year.
